Abnormalities: Complete Transposition (DR-40)
This is a case of complete transposition of the great arteries at 29 weeks of gestation.
The video clip corresponds to a transverse sweep through the fetal chest starting from the level of the 4-chamber view to the upper mediastinum. The four chamber view is normal. The pulmonary artery arises from the left ventricle and is wedged between the 2 atrioventricular valves. The aorta arises anteriorly from the right ventricle.
